AFTER WORD SEVEN – Powerful

It’s 2.05 AM. I am writing these notes just after I conducted my first workshop.

It’s unbelievable what power young minds have. I am just astounded by their work. We talk about climate change so scientifically as adults, but these young co-researchers have shown me how we must look at it more emotionally, how to really ‘care’ about it. Their ideas and thoughts are nothing less than excellent. The pauses in between their words are powerful. It takes them to the exact place we are talking about. They wish they live ‘now’ in 2021 forever than travel to 2100 which is unreal.

Their voices are heard through the scripts and it felt as if each word carried more weight, more meaning than the word itself. Certainly climate change is a burden to them.
